Mr. Fu Chengyu was born in 1951. He graduated from China’s Northeast Petroleum Institute majoring in geology, and later received a master's degree in petroleum engineering from University of Southern California in the United States. He has over 30 years of experiences in the oil industry in China. Mr. Fu previously worked in China's Daqing, Liaohe and Huabei oilfields. He joined China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) in 1982 and from 1983, he served as chairman of several joint management committees formed through the joint ventures between CNOOC and the international oil companies including BP Amoco, Chevron, Texaco, Phillips Petroleum, Shell and Agip, etc. He was Vice President of CNOOC Nanhai East Corporation from 1994 to 1995. In December 1995, he was appointed Vice President of Phillips China Inc. and General Manager of the Xijiang Development Project. In April 1999, Mr. Fu became President of CNOOC Nanhai East Corporation. In September 1999, Mr. Fu was appointed Executive Director, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CNOOC Ltd. In October 2000, Mr. Fu became the Vice President of CNOOC. In December 2000, he was also appointed President of CNOOC Ltd. Since August 2002, Mr. Fu has held the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of China Oilfield Services Ltd., a listing oilfield service vehicle of CNOOC. In October 2003, Mr. Fu became President of CNOOC. He was also appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CNOOC Ltd.
傅成玉先生出生于1951年，毕业于中国东北石油学院地质学系，后获美国南加州大学石油工程硕士学位，在中国石油行业拥有逾30年的经验。傅先生先后在中国的大庆油田、辽河油田和华北油田工作过。傅先生于1982年加入中国海洋石油总公司，自1983年始，先后在中国海洋石油总公司与阿莫科、雪佛龙、德士古、菲利普斯、壳牌和阿吉普等外国大石油公司的合资项目中任联合管理委员会主席。1994年至1995年，任中国海洋石油南海东部公司副总经理。1995年12月任美国菲利普斯公司国际石油（亚洲）公司副总裁兼西江开发项目总经理。1999年4月，傅先生担任中国海洋石油南海东部公司总经理。1999年9月，傅先生出任中国海洋石油有限公司执行董事、执行副总裁兼首席作业官。2000年10月，担任中国海洋石油总公司副总经理。2000年12月，兼任中国海洋石油有限公司总裁。2002年8月起，任中国海洋石油总公司的子公司--中海油田服务有限公司董事长兼首席执行官。2003年10月，傅先生被任命为中国海洋石油总公司总经理，兼中国海洋石油有限公司董事长、首席执行官。
