Stephen Engle is an accomplished broadcast reporter with more than 16 years of experience communicating business, technology and general news to audiences across the Asia-Pacific region. Currently based in Hong Kong as an on-air reporter for Bloomberg Television, Mr. Engle conveys breaking news on the business and financial markets of greater China and the rest of Asia through his appearance on programmes such as Bloomberg LIVE, Bloomberg Now and Asia Business Tonight. Mr. Engle's distinguished broadcasting career as anchor, reporter and producer has seen him based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei and Tokyo. Before joining Bloomberg Television he had worked with CNN, CNBC and NHK. Mr. Engle brings essential and dynamic insight to business persons, finance professionals, investors and other viewers on the key markets and industries throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Highlights in Mr. Engle's career include covering former U.S. President Bill Clinton's visit to Guam and the APEC Summit of Pacific Rim Leaders, and interviewing Nobel Peace Laureates Aung San Suu Kyi and Kim Dae-Jung, as well as a host of major political leaders such as the United Nation's Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon. Mr. Engle has also secured interviews with business leaders such as HSBC's Sir John Bond, Virgin's Richard Branson, Cisco's John Chambers, TSMC's Morris Chang, Microsoft's Bill Gates, Arcelor Mittal's Lakshmi Mittal and Viacom's Sumner Redstone.
